Chichester Engagement & Advisory Group (ChEAG)

Are you a healthcare service user, carer, or professional with valuable experiences to share? Your insights can make a real difference in shaping the next generation of healthcare professionals.

Creating a community to develop patient-centred training

The Chichester Engagement & Advisory Group (ChEAG) is a voluntary partnership between the School of Nursing and Allied Health (SNAH) at the University of Chichester and local community members, including healthcare service users, carers, and professionals

We are looking for passionate community members to get involved in developing, delivering, and evaluating healthcare education programmes at the University of Chichester’s School of Nursing and Allied Health. By sharing your lived experiences, you can help ensure our students receive patient-centred training that truly reflects the needs of those receiving care.

  • Make a Difference: Help shape healthcare education by contributing to course design, student recruitment, and providing valuable feedback on student presentations.
  • Flexible Opportunities: We offer various ways to get involved, with different time commitments to suit your schedule.
  • Full Support & Training: You’ll receive an induction, ongoing training, and support.
  • Be Recognised: Your contributions will be recognised and valued, making a lasting impact on the healthcare education community.

You may like to be involved in student recruitment. Both individual and group participation would be welcome.

This can include reviewing applicant responses to scenarios, contributing to interview panels, designing questions to be used in interviews, creating digital resources which applicants are asked to view and discuss and by providing feedback to inform offer decisions.
