We’re offering an exciting new suite of international scholarships for international students joining us in autumn 2026 - including generous awards for students from South Asia, Southeast Asia, Sub-Saharan Africa, Turkey and the EU.
We’re also offering an Early Bird Discount to international students.

University of Chichester Region Scholarships
We’re delighted to be offering four new region scholarships for 2026:
- The University of Chichester South Asia Scholarship
- The University of Chichester Southeast Asia Scholarship
- The University of Chichester Sub-Saharan Africa Scholarship, and
- The University of Chichester Turkey Scholarship
These will be awarded automatically to students who are nationals of and who are domiciled in these regions.
Details
- Scholarship amount (offered as a fee reduction on first year fees):
- Undergraduates £3,500
- Master’s: £3,000
- No application for the scholarship is required: it will be awarded automatically
- Open to all non-UK nationals of these regions domiciled in these regions

- Open to Overseas fee payers only (Home fee-payers are not eligible)
- Recipients cannot claim any other University of Chichester awards, including alumni or Early Bird discounts
- Only available to self-funded students. Not available to students in receipt of external scholarships or to sponsored students
- The scholarship fee discount applies to the first year of study only
University of Chichester EU Scholarship
Before Brexit, undergraduate students from the EU paid Home fees (the fees British students pay) at most universities in the UK. Post Brexit, since 2021, they have had to pay international fees, which are higher.
At Chichester, in appreciation of the enormous contribution EU students brought to our campus community in terms of passion and academic rigour pre-Brexit, we’ve decided to turn the clock back to 2020. EU undergraduate students now pay Home fees.
Details
- For autumn 2026, Home fees will be £9,535 a year.
- This scholarship will automatically be awarded to undergraduate students who are EU nationals. No application is required.

- Students must be EU nationals
- Recipients cannot claim any other University of Chichester awards, including alumni or Early Bird discounts

University of Chichester Global Distinction Scholarship
Celebrating and rewarding academic excellence, the Global Distinction Scholarship is a merit-based award, designed for top-performing international students from all regions across all undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.
Details
- Scholarship amount: £2,750
- No application required: eligible students are automatically considered
- Open to all non-UK nationals who would normally be assessed as Overseas fee payers
- Available for both undergraduate and postgraduate students
- Scholarship fee discount applies to your first year of study only
- Applicants may only receive one University of Chichester scholarship
- Recipients are selected by a panel
- They will be notified by email that they have been awarded the scholarship

Yesai And Maria Mazmanian Foundation Scholarship
The Yesai And Maria Mazmanian Foundation Scholarship is open to Armenian nationals assessed by the University of Chichester to be overseas fee-payers, who are domiciled in Armenia, and who are admitted to selected University of Chichester undergraduate programmes commencing in autumn 2026.
Details
- Scholarship amount: £6,500
- Available for each year of the degree course
- The value of the scholarship will be deducted from tuition fees
- Available for students studying the following degrees at the University of Chichester:
- BEng (Hons) Electrical and Electronic Engineering
- BEng (Hons) Mechanical Engineering
- BSc (Hons) Computer Science
- BA (Hons) Games Design and Development
- BSc (Hons) Biomedical Science
- Recipients will be assigned a mentor through the Yesai and Maria Mazmanian Foundation.
- Recipients will not be eligible for any further University of Chichester fee discounts or scholarships.
- Applicants will be selected on the basis of academic eligibility supported by a personal statement. They should first apply for their chosen programme through UCAS, then send a personal statement by email to global@chi.ac.uk. This statement should outline the contribution they believe they will make to academic life and the student community at the University of Chichester.
- Applications and supporting statements must be received by the January UCAS deadline, which for September 2026 entry will be 14 January 2026.

Please note
Recipients of all the above awards may be asked to take part in promotional activities or international student support initiatives as a condition of receiving the scholarship.
Early Bird Discount
If you accept your offer from the University of Chichester before the 30 April 2026, we will automatically award you a fee reduction of £1,500 for undergraduate students and £1,000 for master’s (MA/MSc) students. No application is required.
