Ross Eric Gardner
Date of Graduation: October 25th 2015
Course: Performing Arts, Theatre Performance (BA Hons)
I am currently working for Seabourn Cruise liners as a waiter. I passed my training back in November 2016 and nearly finished my first 4 month contract where I will be travelling home from Brazil, Manaus for 2 months vacation.
I love the fact that I'm exploring the world and visiting places that people could only dream of, for example Antarctica! In the space of my first 4 weeks onboard I had gone from sitting on the beach drinking beers in the Caribbean, to sitting on snow surrounded by penguins... and their poo.
Doing my Performing Arts degree made me open my eyes to how many people think differently about things and everyone's perspective differentiates from another. It's also thought me that there is no limit to what you can do in life.
My most favourite modules were both Production 2 and Production 3. I loved how both the products were created from such small stigmas. Again, it was a case of different ideas coming together to then create something bloody brilliant!
What do I miss most about Chi? The small network of people that would encourage you to explore.
My advice to any new joiners; "be open minded, respect other peoples opinions and don't be afraid to be different"
