University carolers host Christmas charity concerts

Christmas carol concert

CHRISTMAS carolers from the University of Chichester will be singing next week to raise money for charities working throughout the winter season.

Musicians and vocalists of the University’s Chamber Choir will perform traditional songs and contemporary music for its annual seasonal concert. The evening service, which is non-ticketed and free to attend, will be held on Tuesday 12 December.

The concert will be held from 7:30pm on Tuesday 12 December in Chichester Cathedral, The Royal Chantry, Cloisters, PO19 1PX. The beneficiary of the concert will be the Chichester District Foodbank, which works to support people in the area, as well as the Bishop Otter Trust.

A previous service, at St Wilfred’s Church in Bognor Regis on Thursday 07 December, raised money for St Wilfrid’s Church and homeless charity Stonepillow, which have established strong relationships with the University.
