About

Toby is a recording musician and has worked as a sound engineer for over 10 years. With a background in song writing and arranging Toby has published works with Universal Music for Netflix, Channel 4, and the BBC. In 2010, his band charted at number 4 on the MTV video charts.

Toby won the ‘Creative Music Technology Prize’ from Kingston University in 2015, for his project ‘Wii-tar’, a motion-controlled guitar for live performance.

In 2021, Toby’s interest in Art lead him to becoming a contributor on Grayson Perry’s Art Club (Channel 4/Swan Films). Toby’s artwork (‘Tape Loops’) is on exhibition at the Bristol Museum and Art Gallery.

As well as audio, Toby has a keen interest in analogue film photography, and is currently developing his own darkroom practice.
