Our Financial Support Package

2018/19

All new full-time and part-time Home, EU and International undergraduate degree (including Foundation Degree) students* starting level 4 in September 2018 whose programme is campus based (BRC or BOC)

* For their period of undergraduate study

In order to comply with new data protection legislation, which comes into force from 25 May 2018, all students will have the opportunity to actively 'opt in' to membership of the Students' Union, in order to receive the following additional benefits: 

  • 3 year NUS Extra Card
  • Membership of the Students' Union Sports Federation

Household income below £25,000

In addition to the above, if the income of your household is below £25,000, you will be eligible for our financial support package. All cash payments will be paid to the student in three instalments during the year.

If you are a Care Leaver you will receive an additional £1,000 per year.

Care Leavers

If you are a Care Leaver you may be eligible for our Care Leavers Bursary of £1,000 per year irrespective of any other funding or grants you may receive.  Contact our Care Leavers Coordinator, Dave Corcoran, on clc@chi.ac.uk for more information or see our Care Leavers webpage.
